About House of Commons

The House of Commons is the democratically elected chamber of the UK Parliament. 650 elected Members of Parliament represent constituents across the UK to check and challenge the work of the Government, make and shape effective laws, debate and make decisions on the big issues of the day, and check and approve Government spending.
